Le Tote is a clothing subscription service, similar to Netflix. They send you a box of three articles of clothing plus two accessories. You wear them for as long as you like, then you send the box back for another one. You can do this as many times as you’d like for $49.95 a month. The only limit to how many boxes you get in a month is how fast the post office can ship.
If you like something in the box, you can keep it, and Le Tote will then charge you for it. Or, if you like it but don’t want to buy it, you can click the “resend” button, and Le Tote will send it to you again in a future shipment.
As you can see above, Le Tote sent me three items that were already in my virtual closet, items that I picked out when I signed up. I loved the gray and black shirt … for about an hour. Then it had stretched out so much in every direction that it was not remotely attractive.
I didn’t love the first necklace, either. It looked kind of cheap, but it was my own choice.
The second necklace, however – I’m in love. I haven’t made the decision yet, but I can buy it for $30.
Then there are the two curated items. I was skeptical about the dress. I never wear spaghetti straps, so I doubted I would love it. I was wrong. It’s really cute on, and it’s snug/loose in all the right places. The material is far thicker than I expected, too. So no need to wear a slip with this one!
I have mixed feelings about the pink shirt. It’s by the same brand as the gray one, but the fabric is slightly different. It has more give and doesn’t stretch out in a heartbeat. But I don’t like the color enough to keep it.
My favorite part about Le Tote is that you can change your style or size anytime you want. That’s perfect for anyone losing weight or even changing jobs.
What do you think? Do you have Le Tote? Do you like it?
